About the Position
Locum Jobs Online  is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in Southeastern Missouri, Missouri, 63901!

Specialty accepted:  Psychiatry

Start date or shifts:  December 15 – 90-day duration with possible extension

Daily schedule:  Monday through Friday, 8- or 10-hour shifts; flexible start times between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

Practice setting:  Inpatient behavioral health facility

Types of procedures:  Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, patient discharge and admission assessments, and participation in treatment team meetings

Number of patients:  Average caseload of 40 patients across two wards; patients seen monthly or as clinically indicated

Ages:  Adults

Additional information:  Coverage includes patients with NGRI, VBG, PIST, and SVP legal statuses; common diagnoses include schizophrenia, mood, and personality disorders. Providers will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and may participate in optional on-call coverage. Orientation and background check required;
Epic EMR utilized; travel not required.
