Position Overview:

BJC Medical Group Sullivan Clinic is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join our established, collaborative team at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. Located just an hour from St. Louis, Sullivan offers a welcoming community, a high quality of life, and state-of-the-art medical facilities designed to support exceptional patient care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care for women across outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital settings, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered services.

Manage a diverse patient panel, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum, gynecologic surgeries, and preventative care, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

Conduct inpatient hospital rounds or coordinate with hospitalists to maintain seamless inpatient care.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising primary care providers, pediatricians, CRNAs, advanced practice providers, and specialists from St. Louis Children’s Hospital to optimize patient outcomes.

Utilize advanced procedural facilities, including ultrasound, colposcopy, urodynamics, and access to cutting-edge surgical technology, such as robot-assisted surgical systems.

Participate in a shared call schedule to provide after-hours support, balancing responsiveness to patient needs with work-life balance.

Document medical histories, physical exams, procedures, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with hospital policies and legal standards.

Lead and mentor advanced practice providers and support staff, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Engage in ongoing professional development through CME allowances and dedicated educational time.

Adhere strictly to hospital policies, safety protocols, and legal requirements, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Support hospital outreach efforts and provide care at affiliated clinical locations within the BJC Medical Group network.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, particularly within the Labor & Delivery unit, recognized for top-tier patient care standards.

Serve a vital community role at a critical access hospital offering emergency services, cardiac rehab, cancer care, wound care with hyperbaric chambers, and rehabilitation services, making a meaningful impact in a rural and underserved area.

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Licensed or eligible for licensure in Missouri.

Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a community-focused setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting guaranteed salary of $425,000 with potential for productivity incentives based on clinical performance.

$75,000 signing bonus to support your transition.

Residency and fellowship stipend of $2,000/month for recent graduates.

Up to $125,000 student loan repayment over six years to assist with educational debt.
