About the Role:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Check Cashing Clerk to join our team. This position involves handling financial transactions such as check cashing, issuing money orders, and assisting customers with tax-related services. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, and comfortable handling money and sensitive information.

• Cash checks for customers following company verification procedures
• Issue money orders, process bill payments, and assist with tax service inquiries
• Verify identification, signatures, and documents for accuracy and compliance
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer questions clearly and professionally
• Maintain confidentiality and protect customer information
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and secure

• Prior experience in cash handling or financial services is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems
• Must be trustworthy, dependable, and professional
• Bilingual skills are a plus (not required)
