Foreman (Mountain West Region) - JKL Associates
Join to apply for the Foreman role at PUSH, Inc. JKL Associates Inc. is a private premier communications and power utility contractor with 50 years of experience in telecom infrastructure.
The Foreman is responsible for leading the crew and operating equipment necessary to install utilities and associated units. Responsibilities include safety oversight, team management, equipment operation, field paperwork, training, and occasional labor duties.
Responsibilities- Meet or exceed all safety, quality, and productivity requirements for assigned projects.
- Lead, direct, and mentor crews to ensure timely completion while meeting financial and non‑financial objectives.
- Staff projects, recruit new talent, retain employees, and promote career advancement.
- Manage employee relations, provide recognition, discipline, and performance evaluations.
- Recommend additional subcontractors for approval.
- Initiate training and cross‑training for all personnel.
- Schedule projects and take corrective action to meet deadlines.
- Maintain overall project performance in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Approve employee timecards and complete production reports.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on construction equipment.
- Report weekly to the Fleet Manager on equipment hours, miles, etc.
- Abide by all company and manufacturer safety procedures and regulations.
- Establish positive relationships with crew, customers, and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily crew tool talk meetings.
- Perform routine labor and operate equipment.
- Haul equipment to and around the project site.
- Represent PUSH, Inc. professionally.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Two (2) years’ supervisory experience in utility construction.
- Field experience with digging operations in city and rural areas.
- Proficiency with backhoe/loader, excavator, cable plow, compact track loader, and attachments.
- Valid driver’s license;
Class A CDL preferred. - Pass pre‑employment screenings.
- Mentor, motivate, and lead teams.
- Work well with others and participate as a crew member.

- Computer literate;
Microsoft and Google G‑suite experience. - Read, comprehend, and prepare project reports.
