Care Assistant for a gentleman P/T@ £12.21/hr in Billingham - PTE - Billingham - TS23

Looking for a friendly and adaptable PA for a gentleman in Billingham. To support with evening and weekend calls and holiday cover. Shifts will be one hour morning call on Saturdays and Sunday and a 30-minute tea call on Thursdays and Fridays. PA must be flexible and adaptable as the client’s working hours and schedule are changeable. Duties would include –

support with getting up and transferring out of bed,

transferring and assisting with getting ready and showering,

assisting with morning routine such as getting a coffee and washing up.

Also support with cooking and serving evening meal and washing up and tidying up.

The ideal candidate would be friendly, open-minded with versatility in relation to schedule. With a person-centred approach that is sensitive to the client’s preferences. Previous experience with supporting independence would be an advantage but not an essential. Training will be provided. Client is open to any questions about the role.
