Leader Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist primary school in Middlesbrough. This outstanding school caters to pupils aged 4 to 11 with a range of learning difficulties, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). It provides specialist provision for pupils across the Stockton-On-Tees borough. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children with additional needs and have relevant experience or transferable skills.

Graduates encouraged to apply. The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 15:30. Leader Education are dedicated to ensuring that we find adaptable roles and schedules that work effectively for you.

• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one
• Have a background working in education or relevant experience
• Experience working with children with SEND or vulnerable individuals
• Work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best support
• Be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities
• Possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities
