From engaging playtime and training sessions to designated rest periods, we maintain a balance of fun and relaxation to promote physical health, mental stimulation, and socialization.
Through routine and positive experiences, dogs gain confidence and form lasting friendships, making their time with us both joyful and enriching.
Responsibilities- Supervise and interact with dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Drive our ford transit van to pick up clients dogs, am & pm.
- Organize and lead engaging activities, such as group play sessions, walks, and mental stimulation exercises.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly sanitizing play areas and equipment.
- Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to the management team.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to our policies and procedures.
- Providing holiday cover at our Southend branch & be happy to travel there for shifts if needed.
- Have a full clean manual drivers license & have driven for at least 4 years.
- You must have Level 3 Animal Management Qualification or equivalent.
- Genuine love and understanding of dogs, with a commitment to their welfare and happiness.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and maintaining control in group settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in animal care is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- This is a flexible roll which means even though you are based at Billericay you will be needed to provide cover at our Southend Branch. Full training will be given.
- Hours will be variable with a base minimum of 15 hours.
- Driving shifts are AM from 7.30am - 9.00am and PM 3pm - 5pm. In between this you will have hours working in our daycare's.
