Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Ground Control is at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our Energy Solutions Team and help us drive accurate project cost estimations for cutting-edge EV projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for EV projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

  • Conduct quantity take-offs from technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications.

  • Support senior estimators in tender submissions and bid preparation.

  • Maintain up-to-date cost databases for materials, components, and labor.

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to validate assumptions and gather project details.

  • Monitor market trends in EV components and technologies to ensure accurate cost forecasting.

  • Assist in the preparation of project cost reports and documentation for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Basic understanding of cost estimation principles and quantity take-offs.

  • Familiarity with CAD drawings and EV components is a plus.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and estimation software.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
