About the Role
Destination Education is seeking a dedicated and confident Year 3 Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Billericay. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2. The school has a strong community ethos, supportive leadership, and a clear focus on pupil achievement and wellbeing.
You will take full responsibility for the Year 3 class, working closely with teaching assistants and year group colleagues to ensure engaging, inclusive, and effective lessons are delivered consistently.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback and next steps.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with additional needs.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to parents’ evenings and staff meetings.
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds QTS or equivalent.
Has recent experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Has excellent curriculum knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively.
Is committed to high expectations, pupil progress, and teamwork.
