Responsibilities:

    • Help coordinate internal resources (engineering, project management, service) on opportunities that include both traditional AV and network-connected components.
  • Inside sales & lead management
    • Monitor inbound inquiries and perform initial qualification.
    • Research accounts and contacts; prepare background notes and basic technical context (room types, user needs, IT environment) for senior sellers.
    • Conduct light outbound outreach (email, calls, Linked In) to follow up on campaigns, events, and warm leads.
  • Assist in building quotes and proposals that may include:
  • Ensure pricing, scope, and documentation are accurate and aligned with company standards.
  • Track proposal status and follow-up dates in the CRM.
  • CRM & sales process hygiene
    • Keep account, contact, and opportunity records accurate and up to date.
    • Log key activities, meeting notes, and next steps for clear team visibility.
    • Generate basic reports or dashboards for sales leadership as needed.
  • Client support & coordination
    • Support day-to-day client communication via email and phone for smaller requests, status updates, and scheduling.
    • Coordinate demos (including remote demos of control interfaces and AV workflows), site visits, and internal review meetings.
    • Work with the service/support team to route client issues and ensure follow-through.
  • Learn the fundamentals of:
    • Traditional AV: audio, video, signal flow, and room types.
    • IP-based / networked AV: audio over IP, AV over IP distribution, and how control systems unify the user experience.
    • Basic networking concepts relevant to AV.
  • Participate in vendor training, internal sessions, and shadow senior sales calls to build product and industry knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Technology / AV experience a plus but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-friendly demeanor.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and basic office software (email, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
  • Genuine interest in both traditional AV and modern IP-based / networked solutions, and willingness to learn how AV and IT intersect.
  • Team-oriented, positive attitude, and willing to jump in where needed to support the broader sales team.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity for creating drawings and documents
  • Occasional lifting and handling of light objects
  • Comfortable with varied noise levels and temperature environments
  • Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor exposure during site visits
