About the Role
We are looking for a skilled CNC Mill Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls, strong technical knowledge of machining processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts
- Develop and optimize machining programs using Mazatrol and Fanuc controls
- Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to machining processes
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy
- Work closely with engineering teams on design modifications and improvements using Solid Works
- Troubleshoot machining issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments when needed
- Monitor machine performance and conduct preventative maintenance to ensure efficiency
- Assist with plastics machining or injection molding processes as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
- Proven experience as a CNC Mill Programmer, CNC Machinist, or related role
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC milling machines with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls
- Strong ability to interpret and apply blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with Solid Works or similar CAD software for design interpretation
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Advanced expertise in multi-axis milling and Mazatrol programming
- Experience with plastics machining or injection molding processes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience
- Background in high-volume precision manufacturing environments
