* Summary:

** CNC operator loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
** Principal Duties and Responsibilities** **(But not limited to…)
*** Load and unload parts into machines.
* Use basic measuring equipment to inspect ports.
* Maintain production rates.
* Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
* Performs inspection of machined products and maintains inspection logs.
* Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.
* Follow detailed work instructions.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Ability to read drawings or blueprints.
* Inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
* Change tools.
* Ability to make tool offsets.##
