Desktop Support Technician

Location:

Billerica, MA
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Role Level: CE 5 (possible contract to hire)

Hourly Rate: $17.86

Job Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair company and multi-vendor systems, including hardware, software, networking products, and operating systems.
• Install and optimize hardware, software, and networking configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Advise customers on preventative maintenance and configurations to enhance product performance.
• Follow up on potential or desired services (Sales/Systems Engineering) or escalate problems as needed.
• Maintain a functional understanding of company service solutions.

Required Skills:

• Technical Troubleshooting (Advanced)
• Support and installation of Laptop PCs (Advanced)
• Support and installation of Desktop PCs (Advanced)
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of IT experience
