Job SummaryWe are looking for an HR Assistant II that provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for a broad range of HR functions including employee onboarding, records management, benefits administration assistance, HRIS data entry, and coordination of employee relations activities. The HR Assistant II works independently on routine assignments and collaborates with HR staff on more complex projects to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of HR services across the organization.

- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Process new hire paperwork, maintain employee records, and ensure accuracy in HRIS and personnel files.
- Assist in the administration of benefits programs including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation scheduling and exit documentation.
- Prepare and process employment changes such as promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments.
- Support recruitment activities by posting job openings, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Generate standard and customized HR reports; assist in audits and compliance reviews.
- Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement activities, training logistics, and performance review cycles.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Fosters positive workplace relationships, resolves conflicts effectively, and supports a collaborative work environment.
- Support planning and coordinates employee social events for multiple facilities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet the organization's business needs

- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law is a plus.
- Knowledge of Costpoint (ERP), Concur (Travel and Expenses) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of HR administrative experience required; experience in a corporate or government environment preferred.
