Ganz in Billerica, MA, is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer I to support sustaining engineering efforts. This role focuses on creating and maintaining BOMs and drawing packages, updating existing designs, and supporting engineering documentation. The ideal candidate is an early-career or entry‑level engineer who is eager to start their career with a great company. - Support sustaining engineering activities for manufactured medical equipment
- Update existing designs for size, options, and customer‑specific configurations
- Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and complete drawing packages
- Build and manage 3D CAD models while applying standards and revision control
- Prepare assembly work instructions and update product manuals
- Follow the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for design updates
- Partner with manufacturing and vendors from prototype through production
- Support design reviews, capture action items, and update documentation
- Execute basic verification testing and document results
- Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with engineering, service, and purchasing teams
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required
- 0–4 years of mechanical engineering experience is required
- Familiarity with drafting, drawing, and document control is required
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software is required
- Ability to work 100% on‑site in Billerica, MA, is required
