Specialist, Trade Compliance, US Duty Management

Job Title: Specialist, Trade Compliance, US Duty Management

Job Description: The role of the Trade Compliance Specialist in Billerica, MA involves supporting Entegris' Trade Compliance Program by ensuring adherence to U.S. import/export laws and regulations. Responsibilities include managing duty drawback programs, Free Trade Agreement compliance, import and export audits, training, and providing guidance on compliance issues. The Specialist interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and functional contacts to ensure trade compliance.

You'll Do
  • Manage existing duty drawback programs and support investigation of new duty drawback or other duty mitigation opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement of duty drawback reporting and related trade compliance processes.
  • Manage country of origin certification process and U.S. Free Trade Agreement certification requests, verifying eligibility.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Chemists to determine and maintain HTS codes and country of origin for materials in SAP.
  • Provide training to team members on U.S. duty drawbacks, certificates of origin, and Free Trade Agreement tasks for backup and support.
What We Seek
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 2-5 years of Trade Compliance experience (required).
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with U.S. customs and customs brokers (required).
  • Experience with SAP and GTS preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel and Outlook skills.
