We are looking for a Field Service Technician/ Electrician to join the Tower Cranes department at Liebherr Great Britain Ltd. The role involves performing maintenance, erection, dismantling and repair work on equipment at customer premises or on site, ensuring quality standards, timelines and outstanding customer service.

• Carrying out, servicing, assembly, inspection and repair of machinery and equipment at customer premises or on site
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and taking appropriate action
• Supporting testing, commissioning and signing off paperwork
• Returning all warranty and other return parts cleaned, packed and labelled on time
• Ensuring all service information is read, understood and filed, and service manuals kept consistently updated
• Undertaking all work in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations
• Escalating any broken or damaged company equipment
• Developing effective working relationships with the depot support team and supporting others as required
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment and adhering to workplace safety requirements
• Supporting administrative tasks and paperwork completion on time
• Building outstanding rapport and relationships with all customers
• Coordinating with customers to understand and meet their needs, ensuring a flexible approach
• Assisting in the correct identification of required spare parts
• Keeping repair sites clean and left in a condition that satisfies the customer
• Working in accordance with company quality assurance guidelines
• Contributing to recognising and improving work processes to drive greater efficiency
• Optimising downtime by paying courtesy visits to customers and seeking new development opportunities

• Recognised time‑served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering, with willingness and aptitude to obtain 18th Edition Electrical Installation qualifications or working towards them
• Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry
• Good communicator at all levels
