Day to day, youll be:
Managing your own criminal defence caseload from start to finish Representing clients at Police Station sand Magistrates & Crown Court Preparing cases for trial, including advocacy where appropriate Advising clients clearly and practically throughout proceedings Drafting legal documents, instructions to counsel, and case strategies Working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless client service Building trusted relationships with clients, counsel, and court staff About you Qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor (or equivalent experience) Comfortable running your own caseload Practical, client-focused, and calm under pressure Someone who values teamwork but doesnt need hand-holding The culture This is a firm where people stay because theyre trusted, supported, and treated like adults.
