ASAP Duration: 3 months ongoing Rate £26 - £27 umbrella equivalent Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to support a Community Mental Health Team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented occupational therapy interventions to adults of working age with mental health needs. Key Responsibilities Undertake specialist OT assessments and interventions using the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) Deliver both 1:1 and group-based interventions to support recovery and occupational participation Develop and facilitate innovative group programmes promoting community inclusion and independence Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Trust policies Support service users to improve functional skills, wellbeing, and quality of life Essential Requirements HCPC registered Occupational Therapist Experience working within mental health, ideally community-based Strong understanding and application of MOHO Ability to work autonomously and as part of an MDT Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential) What's on Offer Competitive NHS-aligned locum rates Full-time hours with stability Opportunity to work within a CQC Outstanding Trust Supportive MDT and established service
