A well-established construction plant operation is looking to appoint an After Sales Supervisor to support a busy field service division. The business operates a sizeable engineering team and requires a technically credible supervisor who can support engineers day to day while maintaining operational standards across the department.

This position sits between the field engineering team and senior management, ensuring engineers are properly supported, workloads are coordinated and service standards are maintained. This is not a purely administrative role. The successful candidate will be expected to understand the machinery, support engineers with technical queries and attend site when required.

• Day-to-day supervision of a team of Field Service Engineers
• Supporting engineers with technical problem-solving
• Managing holidays, appraisals and general team performance
• Ensuring service jobs are progressing correctly and efficiently
• Working closely with service controllers and parts teams
• Attending site when required to support engineers or customers
• Maintaining clear communication between engineering and management

• Background as a Field Service Engineer within construction plant or similar heavy equipment
• Strong technical understanding of machinery and fault diagnosis
• Experience supervising or leading engineers (formal or informal)
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage a busy team
• Organised and commercially aware
• Full UK driving licence
