Electrical Design Engineer

Now, they’re looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in shaping the next generation of intelligent machinery.

Job Responsibilities:

* Design electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN

* Develop electrical designs for special purpose machinery and automated equipment

* Produce wiring diagrams, I/O lists, cable schedules, and BOMs

* Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. BS EN, IEC, CE/UKCA)

* Support panel build, machine wiring, and fault finding during build and commissioning

* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to specify components

* Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Experience

Required:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer

* Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN

* Experience designing control panels and electrical systems for machinery or automation

* Understanding of industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, safety circuits)
