Licensed Vocational Nurses; LVN

Overview

We are hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for one of our clients in Big Spring, TX
.

• Provide care for patients; manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
• Perform computer data entry; receive full training.
• Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, BSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.

• Must possess valid LVN license
• Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
• Must submit to HHSC required drug test
• Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting
• Must complete facility and HHSC required training

• Shifts are alternating to meet staffing needs.
• Every other weekend off.
• Able to start any day during the week (M-F), given 5 days before start date for processing all pre-employment requirements.
• 40 hours/week
• Minimum of 2-3 weeks of on-unit mentorship with a seasoned LVN
• Term of commitment: 6 months.
