- Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Electrical
- Steering & suspension
- Brakes
- HVAC
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and time estimates
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and follow all dealership procedures
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
- ASE certification preferred
- Ford certification required (or willingness to obtain through FAST program)
- Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Proficient with electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude, team-oriented work style, and commitment to improvement
- Ability to learn new technologies, procedures, and manufacturer specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
