**** Minimum Requirements
*** High school diploma or equivalent
* 6 or more years of related experience
* AMPP (NACE) Cathodic Protection Technician Certification (CP2)
* Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192 and related industry standards
* In-depth experience in corrosion control and corrosion control procedures, to include working knowledge of chemistry, electricity, physics, metallurgy, and coating as they pertain to pipeline corrosion control    
** Preferred Qualifications*
* * Engineering or technical degree
* Experience in the areas of project planning and implementation
* Knowledge of pipeline remediation and repair, pressure reductions, coating systems and corrosion control on pipelines, plants and meter stations
* AMPP (NACE) Cathodic Protection Technologist Certification (CP3); additional AMPP (NACE) training or certifications    
** This position requires candidates to
*** Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
* Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing
* Be subject to call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and extended workdays and/or workweeks for emergency response purposes
* Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home    Driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function of this position.
