- 4 days per week (including weekends), 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
- 2 days per week (Saturday and Sunday), 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
- This position has flexibility to pick up additional shifts as needed.

As a Chemical Dependency Technician at Sagent Behavioral Health's Residential Treatment Center, you will work collaboratively with a team of Substance Abuse Counselors and other professionals to oversee clients and their treatment at our residential facility. You’ll perform a variety of important tasks such as responding to client needs/concerns, assisting with administrative duties, implementing programming as requested, and general daily care of clients such as serving meals, driving them to appointments, providing general support, and responding accordingly to incidents, etc.

- Maintain knowledge, understanding of, and compliance with Nystrom & Associates Program Policy and Procedures upon training.
- Remain compliant with Department of Human Services (DHS) 245G Statutes including timely documentation completion, clinical thoroughness and accurate billing for services provided.
- Conduct chart audits as requested.
- Provide assistance to on-duty counseling staff.
- Provide consistency in program by maintaining all client restrictions communicated by counseling staff. Communicate to staff any inappropriate or suspected inappropriate client behavior.
- Know and follow program emergency procedures, vulnerable adult policy and reporting procedures, incident/accident reporting policies and procedures, and weather policies and procedures.
- Monitor and document client activities. Transport clients to directed activities or functions and monitor behavior, attendance and safe return to resident facility.
- Do not have to have previous substance use disorder experience and may have experience in direct support professional roles, PCA positions, or other roles providing care and support to clients.
- Must have an interest in working in the substance use disorder field, and a passion for providing a high level of care to individuals receiving care in our residential facility.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have weekend availability.
- Must be a compassionate individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients we serve.
This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $18.00 - $19.00 hourly.
Employees receive a $1.00 shift differential for all hours worked after 5:00 p.m., added to their regular hourly rate.
Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE.
Employees in these positions are W2.
