40 Hours per week

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operative with experience working as a handyperson to join our team primarily covering the area of Bideford. This is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) opportunity.

You will provide a high quality and effective maintenance and repair service to Westward properties. Within the role you will undertake general repairs, and maintenance as required in residents' homes and sheltered accommodation.

• Collecting and delivering materials to site
• Carrying out minor repairs, painting and general labouring
• Assisting operatives with general two person tasks
• Clearing refuse and materials from sites

• Previous experience as a handyperson
• Relevant skill in using a range of hand tools, equipment powered hand tools and light plant machinery
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Able to work 40 hours per week
