Office based role, commutable from Bideford, Barnstaple, Great Torrington, Braunton, Bude, and the surrounding areas.

Are you an Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Project Manager or similar with strong leadership skills and looking to take the helm of a thriving department where you will manage a team of 10 Engineers, make key autonomous decisions and lead the team to ensure strong performance and continuous improvement is maximised throughout?

On offer is a senior position within a well-established manufacturer who will invest heavily into your technical development and provide the opportunity to take charge of key projects within the business, further contributing to the company's overall success and continuous improvement.

The company is a specialist manufacturer producing high-performance composite and polymer components for technically demanding industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive and industrial applications.

• Lead and develop the Engineering team to drive performance, capability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet compliance, quality and health, safety, environmental standards.
• Support new enquiries and concept projects through feasibility and technical input.
• Provide strategic engineering insight while monitoring metrics to improve efficiency and delivery.

The role involves leading and developing the Engineering team to drive strong performance, quality and continuous improvement while ensuring all engineering outputs meet required compliance and safety standards. The position works closely with internal stakeholders to support new enquiries and concept projects, monitors key engineering metrics to improve efficiency and provides strategic input to management on engineering direction, capability and priorities.

• Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Project Manager or similar.
