My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.

• Working within the existing multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Being involved in development and electrical design activities
• Working on the whole product lifecycle
• Carrying out analysis when needed, test and product support
• Working on a variety of electrical components and systems (including control systems)
• Ensuring product performance when integrating subsystems
• Ensuring that designs meet EMC standards and defence regulatory standards
• Creating the required technical documentation

• Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City and Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Have previous experience designing a variety of Electrical Systems
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or Solid Works Electrical
• Excellent problem solving capabilities
• Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• SC Clearance will be required
