Overview
A fast‑growing chartered accountancy practice in Bideford is looking for an experienced Accounts and Tax Manager to lead a diverse client portfolio. This role offers clear progression opportunities and collaboration with senior partners to grow the business.
Client PortfolioThe practice serves a mix of sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and larger corporate groups, including clients above and below the audit threshold.
Responsibilities- Deliver accounts, tax and advisory services to a varied client base.
- Build and nurture client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Develop, support, mentor and manage a wider team.
- Collaborate with partners on business growth initiatives.
- ACA/ACCA/CTA/AAT or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in accountancy practice covering accounts, tax, audit.
- Demonstrated progression to an Account Manager/Client Manager level.
- Strong client‑management, communication and leadership skills.
£38,000 – £50,000, dependent on experience, plus benefits and a competitive package.
