Electrician

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Electrician role in Biddeford, ME. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial and/or commercial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support operational efficiency.
• Install and maintain control panels, motors, VFDs, PLC-connected equipment, and lighting systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Identify potential safety hazards and promptly report concerns to supervisors.
• Support facility improvement projects and equipment upgrades as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Valid electrician license or certification (journeyman or equivalent preferred).
• Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and lockout/tagout practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments, including standing, bending, and climbing.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required.
