We are looking to grow our Emergency Department Services Crisis Response team with either a Crisis Response Worker or a Crisis Response Licensed Clinician!
SummaryThe Crisis Response Worker I role functions in crisis capacities to connect clients with the appropriate level of care, providing immediate triage and access to crisis assessment, and assisting and making connections to the appropriate outpatient services when clinical and financial eligibility requirements are met.
The Crisis Response Licensed Clinician (LCSW or LCPC) role has clinical responsibility for clients needing a crisis assessment while in the Emergency Department. This will include conducting crisis assessments and documenting findings, maintaining contact with community resources and providing on site clinical consultation with Crisis Response Workers and hospital based staff.
Required Minimum KSAsCrisis Response Worker: Associate's Degree in a related field from an accredited program required. Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. Crisis Response Licensed Clinician:
Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling is required.
Certifications:
Crisis Response Worker: Current applicable state(s) MHRT/CSP certification required or must be conferred within three months of start date. Valid Driver's License required. Crisis Response Licensed Clinician: Maine State licensure to practice as a LCSW, LCPC or LMSW-CC/LCPC-c
* is required. Crisis Service Provider (MHRT/CSP) certification will be provided as part of initial training. Valid Driver's license required.
* May consider LMSW-CC candidates who are within 2-3 months of independent licensure
Crisis Response Worker: One year of experience working with client population to which this role is assigned required. Prior experience with the chronically mentally ill population preferred. Crisis Response Licensed Clinician:
Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.
