Summary:
Eligible for hourly differential and quarterly 3rd shift bonus
Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer role performs ultrasound procedures for use in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education:
Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience to be eligible for registration as a Sonographer through American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). - License/
Certifications:
Current ARDMS Certification or full registration in at least one specialty area as required by the department/local health system. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. - Experience:
Six months of Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred. - Additional Skills/Requirements
