For a limited time Maine Health is offering up to $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Maine Medical Center - Biddeford is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) to join our team. Preferred candidates will need Operating Room experience to be the educator for the OR, as well as helping facilitate the Peri-Op 101 Program in addition to strong experience in medical surgical, acute care and ambulatory surgery.

The Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator role is responsible for the implementation of clinical and non-clinical education. Develops, coordinates, and implements continuing education and in-service education for all clinical departments.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience:
  
  Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required. Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
  Knowledge of educational development and design preferred.
