For a limited time Maine Health is offering up to $10,000 for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2years of experience!
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
- New graduate RNs (less than 1 year of experience from date of licensure) accepting a position with Maine Health you are automatically enrolled in our yearlong nurse residency program.
- The NRP provides guidance and support to new nurses starting their careers.
- Meet monthly to help with the transition of becoming a professional RN for training, continued learning, group exercises and more.
The Adult Acute Care Unit (MS3) is a 56 Bed / 36 Telemetry – Medical / Surgical unit with a concentration on complex adult patient populations from a wide variety of cardiac, pulmonary, GI, post-surgical, and orthopedics. Develop andutilizeadvanced organizational, prioritization, communication, and leadership skills while working closely with other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented work environment.
- We offer the option of every other or every 3 rd weekend rotation and a self-scheduling tool
The Registered Nurse - New Graduate - Acute Care role is working progressively towards competency and independence in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The New Graduate Program is intended to support the new graduate nurse in making the transition from student to competent clinical practitioner.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. - Experience:
