Maine Health is offering sign-on bonuses for CNAs for a limited time.
- 0 - 1 years of experience eligible for up to $2,500 (full time)
- 1+ years of experience eligible for up to $4,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time ANA/CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Med Surg 4 (MS4)
Cardiac Unit – Acute Care Environment
Med Surg 4 (MS4) is a fast-paced 40-bed / 32-telemetry Adult Medical Surgical unit at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, Maine. The healthcare team provides care to adult complex patient populations from a wide variety of medical-surgical services with a concentration of post-cardiac procedure patients.
Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties. This is a full-time, night-shift position.
ResponsibilitiesThe CNA – Acute Care role supports nursing care delivery under RN supervision, performing direct and indirect care duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. - Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
