Title Child Watch Associate - Biddeford Maine

Overview

This position, working under the direction of the Youth Development Director, is responsible for conducting a safe, quality and age-appropriate small or large group experience for children and families in the Prime-Time program, consistent with the YMCA’s core values and the needs of participants and the community.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8:30am-11:30am
• Monday-Thursday: 4:00pm-7:00pm
• Looking for candidates interested in morning and/or afternoon shifts.

• Operations & Safety– Ensures the health and safety of each child and follows all YMCA protocols and rules. Keeps group and program areas safe,cleanand orderly. Ensures all equipment is in working order. Provides rapid andtimelyresponse to all accidents, situations,incidents and emergencies appropriately,calmlyand professionally using proper techniques and completes incident reports as needed. Reports all concerns to the Director.
• Data Tracking & Documentation–Maintainsaccurateand consistent data tracking and documentation, as required.

• 16 years of age or older.
• Experienced working withyouth,preferred.
• Detail oriented; extremely reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• CPR/AED/Basic First Aidcertified(YMCA will train).
• A criminal background check isrequiredprior tohire. This will be paid for by the YMCA of Southern Maine.
