The Financial Analyst supports the University’s annual budgeting process and provides analytical and project support within the Office of Budget and Planning. The role works closely with division and departmental budget managers across the University to monitor labor, operating, and capital budgets and to produce clear, accurate reporting and analysis that supports planning and decision‑making.

In addition to strong budgeting fundamentals, this role will help advance the department’s reporting and process capabilities by identifying opportunities to enhance tools, workflows, and reporting. This includes developing dashboards and analytics solutions (e.g., Power BI dashboards and Insights Analytics reports) and creating documentation that enables stakeholders to effectively leverage data for informed decision‑making.

This role offers the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, with the possibility of working up to two days per week remotely following the initial familiarization period. The successful candidate must be able to attend regularly scheduled on‑campus meetings as needed.
