A well‑established and respected Toolmaking company, specialising in both new injection mould tool manufacture and tooling repairs/modifications, is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their multi‑skilled team of CAD Designers and Toolmakers.

Up to £45,000
. Days:
Monday – Friday.

Working in a state‑of‑the‑art toolroom, you will enjoy a varied workload ranging from initial concept work through to tool sampling, inspection reporting, modifications, and repair projects.

• Manufacturing, servicing, repairing, and modifying injection mould tools.
• Assessing customer‑supplied tooling and components to determine the most effective repair or modification approach.
• Reverse‑engineering and documenting components within injection mould tools, as well as parts used in mechanical and precision engineering.
• Liaising with the Toolroom Manager to plan and prioritise workload.

• Time‑served or hold a recognised mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience repairing and maintaining injection mould tools.
• Competent in the use of manual and standard toolroom equipment (lathes, mills, surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, manual spark eroders).
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Experience with CAD, 3D modelling, and CNC machining.
