Job Summary
Role
Purpose:
To lead the change management process of new business units and oversee the day-to-day management of the unit through change and transformation, aligning with PML process and preparing for steady-state operation. Provide operational management cover where required.

Identify and implement business improvements using leading-edge tools and embed them into operations. - Process Improvement and Change Management
:
Identify and lead on process improvement within the business unit development plans, improve efficiency and patient outcomes; manage effective change management processes in line with PML policy. - Compliance & Legislative Knowledge

Oversee practice compliance with NHS contractual obligations and CQC regulations. - Technology & Business Intelligence
:
Engage closely with Technology and BI teams to support high-quality performance reporting and embed data-driven decision making.
PML is a successful not-for-profit, GP-led organisation providing NHS community and primary care clinical services across Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. Founded in 2004, PML now employs around 300 staff with a turnover of circa £16m. PML holds GMS contracts and acts as a GP Federation representing circa 50 GP practices covering approximately 650,000 patients.

- Substantial experience managing/leading teams and operational experience at a senior level.
- Primary Care experience (desirable).
- Experience putting in place data-driven/business intelligence decision-making tools (desirable).
- Commercial awareness holding P&L responsibility and budget management.
- Exposure to large scale organisations within regulated and complex stakeholder environment.
- Exceptional communication.
- Ability to manage within financial constraints and use resources creatively.
- Strong business intelligence awareness and reporting analysis skills (desirable).
- Degree in Business or equivalent.
- Post-graduate Degree in Business/Health Care or equivalent.
