Finance Assistant

We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well‑established and growing Bicester-based organisation to recruit a motivated Finance Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, supporting key financial processes and contributing to the smooth running of a busy department.

Your new role

Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment runs
Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems
Carry out bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Review and process employee expenses in line with company policy
Assist with month‑end and year‑end tasks, including journals and reports
Prepare basic financial reports such as aged debtors/creditors
Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
What you'll need to succeed

Driven, organised, and eager to develop your finance career
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using Excel and financial systems
Experience in a finance role
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
