We are seeking a skilled CAD & Projects Designer to joinour client, working under the direct supervision of the General Manager. In this role, you will support both their Sales and Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of industrial laundry equipment projects – from the initial sales phase through to project execution.

Our projects range from replacing specific equipment in existing facilities to designing and delivering turnkey industrial laundry plants for both public and private sector clients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex, high-capacity projects that combine technical expertise with practical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of project files, from initial client specifications or requests through to order execution in collaboration with Sales and Project Managers.

  • Analyze client requirements, propose technical solutions, and provide detailed cost estimates.

  • Conduct on-site surveys and measurements, including 3D scan surveys when required.

  • Attend client meetings to fully understand project scope.

  • Produce project drawings for proposals and execution based on signed contracts.

    • AutoCAD 2D proficiency is essential; 3D CAD skills are a plus.

  • Collaborate with factories and subcontractors to prepare accurate proposals and drawings.

  • Validate drawings and technical solutions with relevant stakeholders.

  • Draft and review proposals in collaboration with Sales Managers.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in CAD design, preferably in industrial or mechanical environments.

  • Strong AutoCAD 2D skills; 3D CAD experience is desirable.

  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate project drawings.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, internal teams, and external partners.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Ireland.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
