About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner (Grade
1) to join our team at Brookside Primary School. Under the direction of senior staff, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

• Clean all surfaces, fixtures, fittings, floors, walls, and sanitary areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure security of premises.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

• Experience in general cleaning work (preferred).
• Willingness to undertake induction and training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
