Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the acquisition of land required for projects and official purposes.

Conduct due diligence on land parcels, including verification of ownership, legal clearances, and feasibility studies.

Negotiate with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure land at competitive terms.

Liaise with government authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and secure necessary approvals.

Maintain accurate records of land transactions, agreements, and legal documentation.

Resolve disputes or issues related to land acquisition promptly and effectively.

Collaborate with project teams to understand land requirements and timelines.

Develop and implement strategies for smooth and efficient land acquisition processes.

Monitor and manage budgets related to land procurement and associated activities.

Keep updated on changes in land laws, regulations, and market trends to guide acquisition strategies.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition, preferably in the [industry, e.g., EPC, infrastructure, solar] sector.

Strong knowledge of land laws, regulatory frameworks, and property valuation.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including landowners, legal teams, and government authorities.

Proficiency in legal documentation and contract management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to travel extensively as required.

Preferred

Experience in handling large-scale land acquisition projects.
