Snowflake Developer

Location:

On-Site, India

Role Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data models in Snowflake.
Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to load data into Snowflake.
Create and manage Snowflake database schemas and objects.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data integrity.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Implement performance tuning techniques to improve query performance.
Monitor data loads and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines and processes.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for data solutions.
Conduct data quality checks and validation processes.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to Snowflake and data warehousing.
Provide support and training to end-users on data access and reporting.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices.
Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance data capabilities.
Contribute to optimizing the overall data architecture and infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience with Snowflake data platform.
Strong SQL programming skills.

Experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS or Azure.
Ability to design and manage complex data models.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake queries.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
2-5 years of experience as a Snowflake Developer or similar role.
