Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to work with a large, well‑established logistics company based in Erith.

Both day and night shifts are available, although this advert is primarily focused on night trunking work.

Shift Details

Night Shifts – Trunking (Depot to Depot)

Start time: 17:30
Finish time: 03:30 (approx.)
Monday to Friday
Simple, clean trunking work with no handball
Pay rate: £24.47 per hour
Day Shifts – Store Deliveries

Store deliveries with pre‑loaded, strapped loads
No handball required
Professional interaction with store staff
Pay rate: £21.25ph

Role Overview

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring company procedures and road safety regulations are followed at all times. You will be representing a major logistics brand, so a professional attitude and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle
Complete trunking or store delivery routes as scheduled
Ensure loads are checked and correctly secured using straps
Accurately complete all relevant paperwork
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
Maintain professional conduct at depots and delivery locations
Requirements

Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experience

Experience with load strapping
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road safety regulations
