We are looking for reliable casual vehicle delivery drivers to join the team. Deliver and collect vehicles while ensuring a professional service. You will assist in the preparation and cleaning of vehicles before delivery, inspect all vehicles for damage or missing items, and check in at the Head Office in Erith to deliver or collect vehicles nationwide.

• Assist in the preparation and cleaning of vehicles prior to delivery.
• Carry out vehicle inspections prior to delivery for damage and/or missing items, record all findings on the Vehicle Inspection Sheet.
• Deliver vehicles to customers-economic locations in a timely manner as required by the business.
• Carry out vehicle collections, ensuring that a recorded inspection is made for damage or missing items and that a customer signature is obtained to confirm collection.
• Ensure="+0.01+" all paperwork is completed correctly and returned to the Rental Office.
• Enter vehicle movement information into the Rental diary.
• Ensure that you comply with the regulations governing driver hours and the use of tachographs when using a vehicle fitted with a tachograph.
• Where required refuel vehicles before delivery to customers, ensuring that the fuel is suitable for the vehicle.
• Report all defects found on a vehicle prior to delivery and on collection by completing the vehicle defect report form and verbally informing your immediate Line Manager.
• Report any incident, occurrence, faulty equipment, etc that may be dangerous or contravene the health and safety regulations and rules, to the Health and Safety Officer.
• Ensure that, where a vehicle is in your control outside of working hours (weekends or evenings), a vehicle check is carried out to ensure roadworthiness, fluid levels are checked, and the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy manner and details of use are recorded in the yard diary.
• Whilst using a company vehicle during and outside working hours, comply with road traffic regulations and drive in a safe, courteous manner STATE. Report any traffic accidents to your immediate Manager.
• Ensure all equipment issued is maintained in accordance with the instructions and health and safety rules and regulations.
• Assist other members of staff in the preparation of vehicles for hire, i.e., cleaning.
• Comply with all instructions or site regulations regarding health and safety on company premises and at any site/premises where delivery and collections are carried out.

• Minimum of one year’s driving experience.
• Must hold a valid category D1 driving licence.
• Be a real team player by maintaining good working relationships with all members of staff and clients.
• Ensure that any company uniform provided is worn at all times, including high visibility jackets/vests and s, and kept in a clean, presentable condition.
• Ensure duties start punctually by reporting for duty at the specified times and that all services run to agreed times.
• Carry out anyೀನ other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.
