Bexley - QSW - Family Support & CP Team -Umb

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Support & Child Protection Team for the London Borough of Bexley.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of children in need, child protection and pre-proceedings cases.
Undertake single assessments and risk assessments to inform planning and intervention.
Initiate and progress Section 47 enquiries where safeguarding concerns are identified.
Prepare and present reports for child protection conferences and court proceedings.
Develop clear, outcome-focused plans that safeguard children and promote positive change.
Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
Ensure all case recording is accurate and completed within statutory timescales.

Working Pattern:

Hybrid working

Pay Rate:

37.52 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience in children's social care

Experience with in Family Support, Child in Need and Child Protection teams
Social Work England Registration
Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and London Child Protection procedures
