Location: Erith, Kent
Salary: £28,000 £ 30,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm
Type: Full-time, permanent
An established and fast-growing food manufacturing business is looking for an Office Administrator to join its sales and operations team. This is a varied role supporting sales administration, planning, and general office operations, ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, processes, and people.
You ll work closely with sales, planning, supply chain, and marketing teams, playing a key role in keeping customer accounts, forecasts, and orders running smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Administration & Customer Support
Supporting sales account managers with customer accounts and records
Maintaining product ranges, terms of trade, contacts, and meeting records
Managing production and sales tracking using advanced Excel (pivot tables, databases, VLOOKUPs)
Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts
Maintaining pricing records
Resolving customer invoice queries
Passing new customer enquiries to the sales team
Coordinating with marketing/PR on customer activity and samples
Assisting with customer forecasting alongside materials planning
Planning & Office Administration
Supporting materials planning and production forecasting
Processing customer orders and overseeing the full order fulfilment cycle
Managing documentation such as despatch notes, pick lists, pallet labels, and export invoices
Arranging collections and deliveries
Handling order amendments, cancellations, and enquiries
Creating and maintaining internal databases
Managing phone and email enquiries
General office administration, filing, data input, and report preparation
Front-of-house duties, welcoming visitors and clients
Maintaining a clean, organised office environment
Previous experience in sales administration or supply chain, ideally within food manufacturing or retail
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communicator with good written, verbal, and numerical skills
Advanced Excel skills (databases, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Proficiency across Microsoft Office
Salary £28,000 £ 30,000 depending on experience
28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus paid birthday off and paid Christmas Day
