Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands‑on experience.
What you’ll do at workDay‑to‑day tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Basic roofing work
- Identifying and rectifying damp issues
- Internal and external redecoration
- Carpentry tasks
- Basic electrical work
- The installation and refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms and carrying out plastering and rendering repairs
Throughout the role the apprentice will gain hands‑on experience, learn correct techniques and build a strong foundation in maintaining and improving a wide range of building structures and facilities.
