Travel RN-Medical / Surgical (Contract Role)
Location: Beverly, MA, 01915
Shift: 12 hr Rotating Day/Night
Duration: 8-weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $3,120 - $3,360; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical/Surgical (Med-Surg) units to join a reputable hospital in Beverly, MA for a 13-week night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a medical/surgical unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs.
- Document patient care and treatment accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Respond to emergencies and manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, discharge instructions, and medication usage.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with hospital and nursing standards.
- Active Massachusetts RN License (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or equivalent (required)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA or equivalent (required)
- Experienced MS RN (2+ years experience preferred); pedi experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
